Data Network Group, Inc. was formed in 1997 in Boulder, Colorado by Michael Perkins.  Michael started the business as the sole member of the company and added the first colleague in 1999. Each year the company has added a new colleague in keeping with the strategy of the business plan and not wanting to grow the company too fast. The company has grown to four colleagues and currently has over 100 customers throughout the Boulder, Denver area.

Data Network Group, Inc. has acquired several other computer consulting businesses over the years including Snow Computing Services, Basic Support, Inc and COMSUN, Inc.
