How it Works – Avoid Downtime
DNG’s Data Defender includes a device that takes a snapshot of your data every 15 minutes and stores it locally. Routine file restorations or recoveries are accomplished from the local copy. Should a server completely fail, the device also allows us to activate it as a virtual server to keep your business up and running while we diagnose and solve the problem with the offline server.
In addition, company data is backed up daily and stored at two different geographic locations. In the event of losing the entire office from fire, flood or other natural disaster, a new device is sent from one of these data centers with the most current backup, to the location of your choice.
